Weatherstock for sale?
Mr. Warren Faidley, CEO of Weatherstock Inc. announced on October 15, 2008 that the entire still collection of Weatherstock is currently
offered for sale. Faidley says the sale of stock
agencies is nothing new, but what makes this sale especially interesting is that "All the images are his and they come with
the package. With most agency sales, a buyer or investor
is only getting a 'shell' with images and footage belonging to others. With Weatherstock, a new buyer gets the rights to a very
impressive collection that can generate income forever.
The fact that most of my stills were
shot on film is also a big bonus as many high-end clients want "film stills" not digital. This a very rare deal for a large
corporation or an investor." Faidley adds that he is also willing to allow an outside agency or company to market the entire
collection. See this information page for more.
Buyer Beware! All of our images and footage are properly copyright released for your security.
The Internet is running out of control with stolen and unauthorized pictures and footage clips. Using images or footage from un-incorporated and
established sources can put you and your business at risk for copyright violations.
Support Needed Funds sought to assist students and
educators Weatherstock is seeking corporate or individual grants or sponsors to assist us with covering the costs of supplying our image
collections at no charge to students and educators. See more information
here.

Biography of Warren Faidley
Over the past 20 years, storm adventurer Warren Faidley has pursued, photographed, written about, obsessed over, filmed,
cursed at and somehow survived some of the planet's most
breathtaking and savage natural phenomenon. During his action-packed career, initially launched at age 12 when he was whisked away by a
flash flood, it is likely he has experienced more assorted natural disaster events than anyone on earth -- including baseball-sized hail,
flash floods, lightning strikes, blizzards, earthquakes, firestorms, an F-5 tornado and the interior of a category 5 hurricane -- the most
violent of storms.
Warren's on-going, life's quest to find the
"perfect storm" has rewarded him with moments of awe -- but often left him standing on the doorstep of disaster. During Hurricane Ivan
in 1994, he narrowly averted death when a sinkhole open under him. His escape was made by leaping onto
a chain-link fence -- as the ground beneath his feet fell into the ocean. In 1987 he photographed a lightning bolt hitting a light
pole in an oil and gasoline storage facility. Although the lightning strike lifted him off the ground -- he managed to reach over and
trip the shutter of the camera -- capturing the world's closest, high quality image of lightning striking an object. In 1997 he made
cinematographic history when he shot the first 35mm motion picture footage of a real tornado.
Unlike the majority of "storm chasers" who are, in reality, part-timers,
researchers and hobbyists who chase a few storms a year, Warren is the real deal -- a true to life, full-time, professional storm
chaser and extreme weather adventurer. He was the first accredited journalist, professional photographer and cinematographer to make a
successful, professional career solely from storm chasing and covering all forms of violent weather and natural disasters -- year round.
Warren's first hand experiences of outwitting dangerous weather has made him one of the most sought after severe weather survival experts,
lecturers and personalities concerning storm chasing, adventurous lifestyles and global warming. His popularity is best illustrated in a
Google Search -- showing an average of
over 60,000 references to his unique name.
